What I Do

Generally I do independent self-funded research, lead the INCOSE Agile Systems & Systems Engineering working group, lead the INCOSE Systems Security Engineering working group, and attend occassionally to special projects for INCOSE and other organizations. 

Paradign Shift International, Incorporated, was my operational home for 30 years. It was disolved as a corporation at the end of 2020. The name now simply refers to this web site.

What I Believe

Learning something new is what keeps life interesting. Doing something useful with new knowledge makes life meaningful. Getting caught up in dogma and recipe is boring. Nothing is standing still - and the more we learn the more we see there is to learn. The rules change when we're not looking. Now more than ever - you have to "keep your eyes on the road and your hands upon the wheel" (Jim Morrison - Roadhouse Blues).
